Most of the time, I'd rather listen to podcasts than I would regular radio. And it's not like the old days when it was a couple of dudes rambling.
Today, they're well thought out. There's a beginning, middle and end. It's kinda nice 'cause you get an idea of where it's headed.
These days, there are five that I enjoy listening to. Here they are in no particular order:
1. Jocko Willink - If you're not familiar, check him out. He's a retired Navy SEAL officer, a serious dude going over serious topics. it's always an interesting listen.
2. Joe Rogan - The beauty of Joe Rogan is that he'll have anybody and everybody on. He's a very smart guy and very insightful with his guests and commentary.
3. Lance Armstrong - Not a big fan, but he does do a pretty good podcast. Intriguing guests and often, to be honest, quite humble. I know, hard to believe.
4. Dr. Rhonda Patrick - She has a Ph.D. in biomedical science and has done extensive research on aging, cancer and nutrition. From keto diets to IF, she talks to some of the smartest folks around.
They're good and different in there own ways. Amazing how far podcasts have come along. Today, you can really listen to an honest, genuine interview with someone across a broad range of topics. Really gives the celebrities, artists, writers, scholars and comics depth, as well as personality.
